“This is truly a historic program that expands mental health services and will readily respond to the unique needs of more individuals who are in dire need of on the spot mental healthcare services. This approach to mental healthcare is the first of its kind in that we now can utilize the mobile unit to provide high-quality, culturally informed mental healthcare directly to neighborhoods across Cook County. I applaud Dr. Green and her team for introducing such a groundbreaking program to help offset the many challenges of mental health in our society” says Cook County Commissioner Dr. Kisha McCaskill.
Illinois State Representative Debbie Meyers-Martin (38th District) adds,
“Dr. Green is considered by many healthcare professionals as a best-in-class advocate and clinical provider here in Illinois. This unique mobile initiative was specifically designed to combat the mental health crisis in Cook County; however, it offers other valuable services for women and children that will have a direct benefit and impact for thousands of families seeking accessible and affordable healthcare. I totally endorse this initiative and look forward to witnessing the positive outcomes.”
